The flame atomizer is factory-aligned and permanently mounted. Only flame height is adjustable. Gas control is computer controlled and saved with new methods.

Below is a schematic design of the Z-2300 optics. With two photomultiplier tubes and fixed magnets, total signal and background only signal can be acquired simultaneously eliminating flicker noise and transient signal errors

The Z-Series spectrometers are all equipped with tools to assist the analyst and simplify training. All spectrometers are equipped with default conditions with automated set-up and optimization. Such innovative tools as Easy-Start integration and audio prompts guide the operator through an analysis sequence. With Easy Start the spectrometer determines when a stable signal is achieved and begins measurement automatically. When the measurement is complete, Easy Start prompts the operator to rinse and monitors the return to baseline before initiating the next sample.

All Z series spectrometers are available with optional 21 CFR11 compliance tools that include controlled access with multiple permission levels, audit trail, electronic signatures protected operation and validation qualifications.
